Hi Sash I am not sure of your question whether you want to set MRP type for your company or determine the values of your stocks. The concept of ABC analysis can be determined in your inventory reports(LIS) However there three MRP procedures 1. Reorder point planning 2. Forecast based planning 3. Time phased planning. The first one might suite you SAP standard comes with different MRP type. I know of 1. Manual reoder point that you must specify the reorder levels and Maximum stock levels. This will suite your slow moving stocks. 2. Automatic reorder point. This would be suitable for fast moving stock since the system will automatically calculate the order quantity basing on your forecast. 3. Lot by Lot order point or fixed lot order point. This will be suitable for fixed order lot and would be suitable where you do not have enough storage space or against firm sales. Cheers
