Warren, can you please explain Object Classes. Our business process is to take pre-checked and packed Handiling Units from Stores around the country into our distribution HUB but then to cross dock them to an Outbound Delivery to a specific customer. All we want to do is receive the returned items and pick them to a Outbound Delivery without the need for putaway. We run WM and HUM and are an ERP system NOT IS-Retail. Does that make sense?
PS - if you have a better idea for controlling the returned items we would certainly be interested in it.

I'm configuring cross docking but want to link a returns Outbound Delivery (coming inbound) to an Outbound Delivery (going outbound).
I can see the Outbound in the cross dock monitor but not the Outbound/Inbound Delivery.
I have a unique PGI mvt 954 for the Outbound/Inbound & a 601 for the outbound relevant for cross docking.
Is there any specific Delivery Type configuration I need to get the returns Delivery on the monitor? If I create an Inbound Delivery as standard I can see this on the monitor. I have been through the code in debug mode but cannot see how the Inbound Delivery Type is selected (it is very complex).
Has anyone configured Cross Docking using Returns Outbound/Inbound Deliveries and if so what do I need to do to get the Delivery on the monitor.
