Hi,

The characteristic view in the material master is not plant-specific, and therefore, you can achieve your requirement. Alternative solution is to define the Z field and add it to your plant-specific table MARC which shall be populated in the plant-specific view (such as purchasing) in the material master.

Cheers,
HT

Subject: Regarding characteristic value

Hi ,

I need your help regarding one of our requirements about material stock
report.

As per the requirement ,We created one class , characteristics and the
values for the characteristics and extending the materials ( Raw materials
) to the classification view to the required characteristics value and
displaying materials, characteristic values, stock of the material in the
specific palnt ( proposed by business ) into one new z - report along with
some fields from z table.

Here actually we want to maintain the stock for the material for the
particular characteristic value in the plant and need to display that stock
into the new report instead of plant stock.

Please help us is there any way to maintain the stock for a material for the
perticular characteristic value in SAP.

Awaiting for your kind reply.

Thanks and Regards,
Usha.
