Hi,

If this is the stock transfer between plants where trucks are used to move your stock, then it is the stock in transit that you can use to monitor your truck quantity.

Cheers,
HT

Subject: How to manage Inventory stored in mobile infrastructures such as Service Trucks

Dear SAP MM Users,

I face a situation where i need to account for Inventory that is issued and can also be recieved to a service truck.(This are Service Trucks that will perform a mainenance due to a Servive or Maintenance Order)
There are potentialy about 300 trucks and as such i did not want to create 300 SLocs.
I will have to report on inventory in the trucks by Mvt type and material.
Any suggestions on how to handle this scenario will be appreciated.
I.e what is the alternative to report on Inventory without creating 300 SLocs

Thank you an advance
