You are right, if they are Stock transfers, then MB5T report will give us the Inventory in the trucks.
My issue is that, for inventory Issues and Receipts, their needs to be a SLoc created where the movement of stock can be issued out of or received into.
Since the number of trucks is 300 for one plant and other plants have a similar number.. i do not want to create all this Slocs.
What would be the best way to perform material issues and receipts into the trucks without creating a large number of SLOCS.
I am thinking of the following
1-Create a Mvt Type specific to perform issues and Receipts and their respective reversals into Trucks and assign this Mvt Type to a TCODE.
2 Make the reason for movement a required field , here i will enter a Truck identifier e.g registration or equipment number
3- Run MB5T or MB51 using Mvt Type as key field, then sort the report by the reason for movement.
let me know of your thoughts on the Design above or if you know of any other way to perform this.

If this is the stock transfer between plants where trucks are used to move your stock, then it is the stock in transit that you can use to monitor your truck quantity.
