Hi Jen As Joao said, the standard operations or functions are not able to do this effectively, I believe. It would be easier to create a function, to access the existing manager relationship for the employee's position, then access the manager's basic pay. It is possible you need to get a particular date's salary or obtain the average over a period, to calculate the bonus. Get the full business requirements. Then define the requirements for the new custom function, discuss this with your development person/s, work with the developer, test in the dev. test client with at least a few scenarios, before moving the changes to QA and for UAT. I have a huge problem in an implementation project. The company we´re implementing has a particular way of paying a bonus. They do a calculation based on the employee´s boss salary, not the employee´s salary itself. So the rule I need to create will read the IT0008 from the employee´s boss. Does anyone know how to do this? > > I appreciate it... > > Thanks > > Jen | __.____._ Copyright © 2010 Toolbox.com and message author. Toolbox.com 4343 N.
