Hi Sebs, It is good to see your mail. Please note that real time integration was also available in pre NGL versions from FI to CO (for primary cost elements only). But the uniqueness of NGL is that it reduces your job of doing an period/year end activities of doing reconciliation of CO to FI, by adding that feature as real time i.e it takes place as you post documents. And if your object is that, it is very well available in SAP ECC6.0. I think for that you should not go into such complications. Let the features developed by SAP handle the same. And as far as discontinuation of Spl G/L is concerned, you can still do the same but please make an estimate of your value addition by doing that instead of exploiting solutions now available.... I hope things are much clear now!!!!..........If not do write back. (Please mark helpful).. In SAP ECC 6 I nedd reconcile CO data with FI data. I think in account based CO-PA solution. But i heard that is possible define an special ledger in FI very similar to my account based CO-PA definition ( filling account, cost center, material and client). Also I know that ngl replaces to spl. It means that SPL would be des-continued? I prefer COPA solution but i would like to know if GL is a real alternative.
