Hi Aarti,
Yes you can customize IT0001 for input entries.
Payroll Area can be seleceted thru settings in feature "ABKRS" and this
field can be as output.
So user can not update this field. But make sure whenever a change in
payroll area is required should be thru ORG reassignment.
Steps to configure the requirement are -
1. *Personnel Management *[image: arrow] *Personnel Administration* [image:
arrow] *Customizing User Interfaces* [image: arrow] *Determine Screen
Modification*<http://www.sd-solutions.com/SAP-HR-Transaction-and-Screen-Variants.html>
2. Select module pool MP000100 and the variable of your country code
(updating the screen)
3. Check box "OUTP" the fourth attribute column for 013 P0001-ABKRS Payroll
Area
4. Save it and run P40, you will find the Payroll Area is grayed and the
value is selected from ABKRS feature.

As per my client requirement, even after integration of PA &OM by plogi orga and defaulting of payroll area in ABKRS. When user will perform hiring action in pa40, then in 0001 when payroll area should be grayed, user should not be able to do any changes.
Is it possible to do so.
