Hi Waza,
Different GAAP can be required within the same country. For example, in the US in the very near future, the SEC is expected to require financial reporting under both US GAAP and IAS during a transition period, with an eventual change to only IAS. This is expected to be achieved in SAP using leading ledger for one and non-leading ledger for the other...rather than the alternate option: additional G/L accounts.

Kind Regards and Thanks Waza

Hi Experts,
In new general ledger, if I make entrys with cost center, is it possible to post different functional area to different ledgers( I mean leading ledger and non-leading ledger)? Different ledger group contains different ledger and post seperately is not what I want to do. The backgroud behind it is different Cost of sale policy according to different GAAP. And functional area is determined by cost center. Many thanks. | | __.____._ Copyright © 2010 Toolbox.com and message author. Toolbox.com 4343 N.
