Hi Omar

I will advise you to maintain the BP in FSCM. In future all SAP implementation/upgrades will definitely maintain the BP in FSCM.
The reason is BP allows you maintain the Credit Profile of you FI-Customer, combining all data of internal credit data of the customer (maintained in FI)
And credit info from external source (generally using Netweaver).
In other words FI maintain the internal view of credit data and FIN-FSCM-CR maintain the external credit data of the same customer.

Hi All,

We are evaluating the FSCM functionality for collection management. I believe this is a very basic question but I have been unable to locate a proper answer myself.

To make FSCM work is it necessary that we have to use Business Partners or can we use regular FI-Customers?
If BP is required do we need to set it up in such a way that the customer and BP are synchronized?
