Hello and sorry for the delay,
Well, sorry for having misunderstood. Maybe you want to explain in a bit more detail or via an example what you want to achieve/display in CCMS (and subsequently OS07N)? For databases, the DBACockpit is the main recommended strategy for SAP Solution Manager's Diagnostics and System Monitoring. But this is not what and why you inquired as I understand.
If you are just interested in 'OS level monitors', I suggest installing SAP Hostagents (to be downloaded via SMP e.g. of via the SAPInst of the SAP SMD Agent/Diagnostics Agent), which include also the SAPCCMSR/SAPOSCol technology, on these (DB) hosts (it would not matter in this case whether they are database hosts or not - the SAP Hostagent is supposed to be made available on every host in your system landscape).
This way, you could make use of the monitors SAPOSCol (and other infrastructure) provides (and you could also configure some file monitoring or process monitoring per SAPCCMSR technology...) and display it in CCMS (subsequently in OS07N). Should I still misunderstand I apologize.
