Can anyone tell how do I enter the serial numbers when performing MI04 (enter physical inventory count)? I can enter the counted quantity but how do I enter the counted serial numbers? Example,

In SAP -
Material Quantity Serial#
MAT01 3 1001, 1002, 1003

Physical count -
Material Quantity Serial#
MAT01 2 1001 & 1002

In MI04, I can enter the quantity 2 units but where do I enter the serial# 1001 and 1002? Do I go to Environment -> Serial Numbers -> Create?

Btw, I am running SAP R/3 3.1I system. Yes, 3.1 users are still around.
