Hello

you can check the SCOT configuration and check if you can get answer betwen the SAP server and mail server
Other task you can put the IP mail server in the hosts file on sap server

Hello colleagues,

I cannot yet quite follow this stream (symptom/error?), SAP Notes 617547 (429265, 176492) might be the starting point; how to set up SCOT/SOST is described in this forum, too.
Are emails not 'sent' or not 'received'? Please follow Dean's suggestion too and please let us know further details.
