Hello, To add to Svetti's comments. 1. Have the auditors signed off on your process? 2. If the company code currency is not USD, then talk to SAP AG. I can't confirm but I think the EURO changeover in SAP also dealt with transferring the local currency to the EURO. But Roy or other EU consultants could add better details. In this case you can use general journal FB01 and reverse the opening balances that are not needed but balanced through retained earnings account. I hope that there is an equity account with reval reserves in the new balance sheet. It's best advised to have detailed workings of all adjustment to retained earning account for external audit purposes. Just another question.. is the company code currency being now changed to USD ---------------Original Message--------------- From: aka SAP Shasha Sent: Friday, July 23, 2010 9:20 AM Subject: need to stop carrying year end balances forward > Is it possible to stop balances to be carried forward to the new year.
