You can GR the 150 on 10th based on the 100 for 10th only if you have accepted overdelivery tolerance of 50% or more or if it is open but the system should expect the next 100 for 11th. The future I mean a scheduled date after current date. Quantity ordered for today and before will be exceeded by the future amount. Got a query. What do u mean when you say " You cannot GR a future Schedule"? If the Schedule against a one schedule line is 100 and second schedule line is 100, and say the supplier sends 150, then 100 from the 150 sent by suplier gets appropriated to first schedule line and balance to the second schedule line is it not? ( Say the Schedule lines are for 10th and 11th of July, and the material arrives on 10th July. In this case i am assuming that 11th july GR is "GR against future schedule line"). Kindly correct me if iam worng. What I know for sure is that you can not GR a future schedule line. I am not aware if the system appropriate the newest lines. > Soulman Nyandiek | __.____._ Copyright © 2010 Toolbox.com and message author. Toolbox.com 4343 N.
