This is why it is written in the book of Sapeanians 1:1 "Though shalt not, NO NEVER, write directly against the Database. For thy job shall be forfeit and thou shalt quickly visit thy head hunter."

SAP does not give us sufficient knowledge to do direct updates. At the very least, it is a security measure. If your go through their transaction or their BAPI / RFC, they have the option of logging what you are doing (and in this case, they are ;-) ). If you don't, then you could be anyone doing anything and there would be no tracing back to you...

Hi,
SAP gurus,i am using SAP BI netweaver 2004 with oracle 10g on windows server 2003. One of the user is get locked due to unsuccessful logon.so, i unlocked the user from sql prompt with the command i.e >UPDATE SAPSR3.USR02 SET UFLAG=0 WHERE MANDT='<CLNT_NUM>' AND BNAME='<UNAME>';. Result row updated successfully. But when the user try to login it is showing that ,the user is locked due to too many unsuccessful login attempts. but when i check in the table USR02 the UFLAG is 0. plz help me what happens exactlY.
