Do you have a table name? I have tried table T588M. I change the field to standard but it is still grayed out.

You can set in screen modification (in SPRO)

IT0000 has a customer specific status field (STAT1). It is by default
grayed out. Can we change the field so that it can be maintained instead
of being automatically populated?
