Hi Sapman,
Why are you using a loopback adaptor with an IDES system, you should be
using your Works network?
The installation process will create both user ids. Just use a Domain
Administrator or Local administrator.
There is a possibility the installation media is corrupt. Try downloading
the media again.

Hi
I am trying to install SAP ECC6 -ABAP, IDES, Win 2003 . .
1. created users <sid>adm, sapservice<sid>, both included in administrators
group
2. set the virtual memory, set env variables, set loopback adopter, set ip:
192.168.1.1 and same added in hosts file
3. installed oracle software with user <sid>adm
now trying to install SAP application with same user, it is throughing
selfextract error and when I check dev_selfex.out it is giving info like
below . .

I tried by deleting the 'temp' contnents but no luck . .
