[sap-log-sd] Sub to column in pricing

Hi,
sub to column in pricing procedure is used to Tranfser the condition value to a field and which can be used in LIS or MIS update.
my question are as follows:-
1) for what other purpose sub to is used. Can the calcution of some condition type in pricing be dependent on the sub to indicator attached to some other condition type
2) for rebates, sub to is 7 (carry over to komo-bonba). why sub to 7 is used in rebates. what does the system do after the rebate condition value is transferred to field. komp-bonba) ?
