[sap-log-mm] Foreign Currency should converted to Company code currency for Checking release strategy

Hi All,
Currently Release strategy is based on PO net order value & we are going to change it. New Release strategy will be based on PO effective order value.
In current scenario, Foreign Currency is getting converted to Co code currency for Checking PO Release strategy.
If I will change the PO Release strategy based on PO effective order value, will the Foreign Currency be converted to Co code currency?
Do I need to do any changes in the system?
