Problem:
We created some Internal Orders and Assets prior to the creation of the Asset Class Configuration.
Consequently we were unable to settle via KO88 due to the following error when settling internal order.
No depreciation areas have been defined for asset
Message no. AA025
Current Situation
We would like to continue to use the internal orders and assets since amounts have been posted to the internal orders.
Option 1: Is it possible to re-derive the depreciation perhaps with AS91?
Option 2: Or do we need to re-class the activity to new internal orders with new assets under construction?
Option 3: Suggestions welcome
I see in PRD if a new I/O for asset is created it will derive the depreciation areas.
Thanks,
Elle
