Hi Sandeep,
As you said your record for the employee is from 01.05.2009 onwards may be that why its triggering error. Did you maintain the record of IT0185 as per joining date of the employee? Please check that and if possible change that from beginning of fin.yr i.e. 01.04.2009.
Feature 40ACK basically returns Form24Q e-file submission acknowledgement receipt no. for all the quarters of a financial year based on TAN no. 3 things you should maintain here:
-TAN no. of the employer,
-Financial year
-Form 24Q e-file submission acknowledgement receipt no. like as <quarter no.>/<15 digit number>, for eg: 1/12456789012345
Feature 40ECC returns your employer related data. Feature is used to return 1) employer classification code 2) employer permanent a/c no.(PAN) 3) Employer Tax account no.(TAN) 4) Employer GIR no. These are maintained in seperate lines and used for reporting purpose.
