Hello Govind, would you please tell me
How to create cost center at work center in Plant maintenance. I am not looking profit center. When I created IR01. In Costing tab its asking me in controlling area & cost center. I create controlling area but its difficult to create Cost center. Can you tell me in detail form controlling area to all the way to costing. Please describe in detail. Thanks for your help. Hi,
If your client have same model or type of equipments which have same spare parts structure then
1. Create PM assembly ie IBAU material for the equipment
2. Create BOM using above material as Header and assign the spare parts of that equipment as components.
3. Assign the PM assembly code in construction type all the equipments which are same type or same model.
In that way you can use same BOM for more than one equipments no need to create BOM for individual equipments. It will be useful during maintenance order that you can check what are the spare parts are forming the structure and you can use to purchase the spare parts for that equipment maintenance no need to search from the material selection.
