Arkay.
It make no sense to schedule transaction IC eliminations in a job. All
consolidation tasks need to be performed in a fixed sequence otherwise
it screws up your consolidation data. First all consolidation data
need to be selected and validated in the data monitor before executing
elimination task in the consolidation monitor.
The terminology automatic is confusing it refers that all the line
items which can be offset / eliminated are automatically selected and
summarized per Consolidation entity / GL account / Trading Partner.
The process itself is a manual activity. You can run the elimiation
task first in a test mode to verify if the outcome is as expected
before executing actual elimiation which generated a consolidation
document.
