Hello David, Thanks for the response. The customer does not have a solution manager system for automatic license procurment. I'm not able to see the license data or system-data in SAPNet for the IDES systems in case here and looks like I will need to check with the customer what's their maintenance agreement or if it's just any missing authorizations for the S-user ID to do the needful.
On a side note, I tried installing a temporary license however the
SWPRODUCTNAME of the temp.license ("NetWeaver_<DBT>") does not match
with what's needed for the permanent license check ("Maintenance_<DBT>") thus not allowing the SPAM to proceed further. (error with the no valid maintenance cerificate not found)
[ DBT => DB Type e.g. DB6, MSS, etc. ]
- So seems permanent license key is the only way out before the support packs can be applied.
Any ideas or known issues you are aware about applying support packs for the NW 7.0 based IDES systems?
