Well, they can, but it's not recommended. You should only try it in an
emergency.

i have a doubt can trnasports be done in the below scenarios ,
-Dev and production at different kernel patch level . Can tranport be done
from dev to quality ?
-Support packages are at different patch level in development and production
. Developmnet at higher patch level . can transport be done from development
to production ? __.____._
