There was a requirement to maintain daily exchange rates when I worked on a SAP country implementation for Slovakia.
The national bank of Slovakia provided a downloadable file.
We completed a custom ABAP program to load this directly into TCURR:
1) Extract the file from directly from the website via FTP
2) Convert this file as we had to ensure it could be correctly written into the TCURR table
3) Then it was loaded directly into the TCURR table __.____._
