Reply from Thomas_Dulaney on Nov 5 at 2:54 PM I have both PMP and SAP certifications. Experience gets me jobs. Certifications are nice-to-have additions. One you get the interview, experience and war stories get the gig. Certification process can be informative if you don't have any experience in, for example, project management. But you have to migrate into pm from job you already have. No one will hire a pm who has never managed a team first, then a project just because they have certificate. Just my two cents.
