Current period of your company is 12/2016 that's why you are unable to post invoice.
Use tcode MMRV- to see current period of your company code.
Use tcode MMPV - to change period of company.
Use MMPV and enter your company code then insert month 01 and year 2017 and execute, do this again and again till 09/2017.

Hi,
I'm trying to pay invoices for a company and the usage period of the invoice is 1/8/17 to 30/8/17. We received the invoices on 13/9/17, so that's what I'm using as the Invoice date. I always use this method and don't experience any problems...
However today I keep receiving an error message "Allowed posting periods: 09 2017 / 12 2016" and I cannot proceed with the payment of the invoices.
What is going on here?
