Sorry for what you are going through and the late response from me.
I understand your concerns and I believe it can be managed with due diligence. But in my experience you have to activate split valuation to capture the refurbishment process adequately.
Consequently, you can talk to your MM consultant to find out if there is a way to capture your requirement in the material master or anywhere else within MM or WM.

I suggested our SAP team on activating Split valuation. They said that, "the use of split valuation has already been reviewed but has too many consequences in a lot of processes". I did not get any feedback on what kind of consequences. Nevertheless it seems its not possible to activate Split valuation with our current price setup.
Do we have some other alternative of this problem apart form Split valuation?
