Hi,

you can decide to create new SAPDATA directories on the new DAE and crete datafles in it. SAPDATA directories are the ones that is probably increasing and taking the most space in your system.

Subject: Which Mount Points Size to Take Into Consideration As No Space is Left in Our Storage?

We are running out of space in our storage. We are planning to purchase a new DAE (disk array enclosure) form EMC. Our database size is 2.6 TB. So please guide me which mount points size I must take into consideration (i.e. to increase the size of mounts points) or to create new points so that the SAP application runs perfectly.

Our SAP is on Oracle Solaris EHP 7 upgraded.

Appreciate your early suggestion.

Regards,
BK
