After that you could try to change (via ABAP/user exit) the delivery to quantities of the TO.
After that maybe start creating a new delivery via ABAP and do the trick again (so not split but just make TO, change delivery, create new delivery). Maybe even better is not to create new delivery via ABAP but start job-event after last step (changing delivery) (event which triggers a job VL10A)...
A lot of ABAP, testing....
If the warehouse has for example only two storage types with in every storage type specific materials you could also invest if two IM storage locations (connected to one WM) would to a delivery split (it should) and then do two TO's for the two deliveries (maybe you have to use storage location control in WM for search strategies). So if you could divide your stock in two IM SL's ... I think you will not need any (or maybe only a bit) ABAP.

Hi All,
My client has a process where outbound deliveries are created when sufficient stock exists. After that TO's are created (incl multiple storage types).
Now they want to split the TO's per storage types. This is clear to me.
Now they also want to post goods issue for each of these TO's separately. In order to do so they have to split the preceding delivery but with the restriction that this has to be done before that packing starts. This is not completely clear to me.
I suppose it can be done via subsequent delivery split. Do I have to mind some specific things? Will the process work with the splitting of TO and afterwards the delivery for example?
Would like to have your opinions!
