Since you do not intend to change MAP first response is - Not possible.
However, since your further transactions and good material is to be
evaluated at MAP rate, your requirement seems to genuine.
I can think of one work around: Create separate material code/s, transfer
this material to new code, and then change price. Any price variation thus
will be accounted to the material which you need to discard. Thereby your
existing codes and the transactions thereof will not be affected.
Hope it's OK, else the forum may suggest something better than this.
