We had to restrict plant access and only allow warehouse access. To do so we tried two things:
1) modified the plant value in M_MATE_WRK auth object [plant set to a ABCD; we would never have ABCD plant]. But what if we could in the future... 2) Removed plant value in org level section, this will lead to 'open org. level' warning on generation of the role (just generate).
After making our change, we entered a plant number and an authorization error occured, warehouse No. and Storage type were valid entries. On the WM tab 1, the unit of issue field no long appears.
I hope this is helpful to others facing this same request from your WM team.
