Then First day of the year:
Concatenate TheDate(4) '0101' into Firstdayoftheyear.
And last day of the current month... Open Se37, search for *month* spend a few minutes searching (I'd rather say, a few seconds). You'll get what you're looking for.
if you are much hurried, then search for lastday.
