Our setting.
Plant 1515 (Sloc 0006)
MRP area 1515-0008 (Sloc 0008) --> this is our only MRP area.
For some materials there is a 'hard' safety stock. It is not possible to order this.
The situation.
We create a Sales Order (VA01) for a material in Sloc 0008 (MRP area 1515-0008).
Stock in Sloc 0006 = 30 PC (include 5 PC safety stock) --> plant level.
Stock in Sloc 0008 = 40 PC (include 10 PC safety stock) --> MRP area.
We order (VA01) 50 PC in Sloc 0008 (MRP area 1515-0008).
The availability check is not working.
We get the message 'there are only 35 pieces available).
He is looking at the right Sloc (40 pieces in 0008), but not to the right safety stock (5 pieces --> this is the safety stock of 0006!).
This is strange because in the same situation when we created a reservation (MB21), the availability check is working good (and it looks to the right safety stock in 0008).
Is there a (standard SAP) solution for this problem? Or do we need a UserExit?
