If a material should change Stock status, (e.g. from Q-block stock to Unrestricted), then it is a special movement type '321'.
In the same way, there are special mvt.types for other postings regarding Q-block stock
IM mvt.type txt Comment
321 TF quality to unrest Q-block stock => unrestricted
322 TR quality to unr. 321 reversal
323 TF quality in plant as 321 + mvt stor.loc.-stor.loc.
324 TR quality in plant 323 reversal
349 TF blocked to QI Blocked stock => Q-block stock
350 TR blocked to QI 349 reversal
457 TP Returns to own QI
458 TP Own QI to returns
A tip to determine the correct mvt. type: transaction MB11, menu path 'Movement Type' => 'Transfer Posting' => 'Stock to Stock' + select the desired mvt.
(for reversals, 'Movement Type' => 'Reverse Trfr Posting' => 'Stock to Stock' + select mvt. =opposite of txt)
Conclusion: all stock status changes from Q-block to Unrestricted will have mvt 321 (323)
This can be used for searching in table MSEG

I faced difficulties to identify the particulars material movement transaction (MSEG table) is belongs to which stock category, either unrestricted, In Quality inspection or blocked.
I need these info to generate a report to show how much the quantity has been changed from In QI to Unrestricted , regarding the changes between stock category. |
