Reply from Ron Roberts on Sep 4 at 2:49 PM The summary report is just that...a summary of all assets. As such, a breakdown by cost center is not available.
Try this: using the same transaction, run a non-summary report, add cost center to the display. Now summarize (subtotal) by cost center. Do this by clicking on the subtotal icon without selecting a column. Remove those subtotal levels not needed and then add the cost center as a subtotal field in the desired spot (be sure to click the subtotal box for the cost center field).
On the result click Settings/Summation levels/Choose to clean up the report as desired.
