Reply from LCC352 on Jul 2 at 9:04 AM Hello. As much as you would like to think it's the amount field because it's blank, that's not really the issue. The error you're getting refers to a field that's not present in the screen at all, not a zero value for a field that is present. A zero for a value would be accepted and ignored by SAP in any journal entry. I suspect the field needed would reside just before the value field that's blank. To analyze this, take a screen shot of the screen when the process stops. Then go to the "analyze" area of the BDC. Look for the screen in question, open the area and look at the fields being passed by the BDC. The one you can't find in your screen shot is the field value that is giving you the error. It's going to come down to a field status where the field you need is being suppressed. The G/L account should be on the screen shot. Ask your FI configuration team if that account has been changed recently. That might be the issue right there, but it would be helpful to them for you to know what field is missing from the screen.
