Hi,

Taking credit of service on advance payment made is not possible other than
GTS in India after 2010. The rule has been changed now and cannot take
credit on it.

To take the credit you should have the proof of the service tax involved.
Hence you should have the invoice.

In you case of normal service tax not possible. In case of GTS, we
configure the 2 different tax i.e. tax on advance payment and tax on
invoice for which the report RFUMSV50 can be used to transfer the service
tax to RG23A from where you can take the service tax credit.

Hope this will help you.

Subject: Transfer Service Tax To Service Tax Credit Account

Hi,
I need to transfer service tax to service tax credit account immediately after paying down payment as per income tax rule we can take credit of service tax on advances also. But if I do not have invoice as it may receive in future may be in next month then how can I do it by running RFUMSV50 program as this document is not considered for this program.
F-54 does not solve problem as I do not have invoice. So how can I do it. Suggest.

Thanx
