For 3 Mio. BP you need to plan some prerequisites:
- Parallelize your load
- Setup a landscape with multiple app server for queue handling
- Prepare you system customizing to avoid any time-consuming error handling
- Define your BDoc size according to the possibilities of your system landscape
- Setup RFC connection between CRM and ERP according to your system capacities
- Reduce your BP flow to the minimum requirements and switch of any unnecessary function modules
- Optimize database tables (especially RFC tables)
As you can see there is a whole bunch of various activities in different system areas. For best improvements you have to optimize different system levels. As I normally say, apply a good "bottle-neck dimensioning".
