Reply from efblalock3 on May 1 at 11:20 AM The easiest way to "rework" an item is to create a Production Order with the finished good as both the product and the (only) component. You will receive warnings about the BOM being recursive which you can ignore. You can issue material and capture time (machine/labor) for the order. You do not require any configuration to accomplish. However, if this is a common occurrence you may want to create a "rework" order type to allow you to separately capture the costs of rework for your products. If you have inspection operations in the routing, you can establish "trigger points" which allow you to perform the necessary rework/corrections within the production order before completion. This would capture the additional time & materials and report them as a variance. You can review the process for doing this by accessing the SAP help database online. Good luck. efblalock3
