To activate/deactivate the batch for the materials the below procedure has to be followed.
Remove the stock (Movement type - 201) and cancel the documents like PO/Reservations if any. This has to be done only on month end because for activating or deactivating the batch, system will check for two periods.
Close the MM period.
Activate/Deactivate the Batch in the material master.
Bring back the stock to inventory. (Movement type - 202)
