The "550" error makes me think that it wants authentication. Did it ever work as expected?

Dear All,
I have read too many notes for sending mail to external email. We are not using Exchange Server, using mail services from external email service provider from Dubai.
When i send the email from SAP getting the error message;
"No delivery to email@removed , invalid recipient address
Message no. XS806
Diagnosis
The SAP system has processed the message correctly. However, a subsequent system has classified the recipient address email@removed as invalid or unknown and has not delivered the message to this recipient.
Information from External System
550 without authentication.
Procedure
Check the recipient address."
