Hope you performed all the post system copy activities.
What is the db hit ratio.?
Run update stats from DB13.
Check ST06 - cpu/memory utilization.
Also check for swaps in ST02.

Subject: Bad performance between SQL and ABAP program

Hi,

We are testing a "fastest" hardware to put in production soon. To test the machine we use our quality server which is a clone of production server.

When we make the test, we have noticed that:
- When we access from Abap to the database the time of the "fastest" HW is worst.
- When we access to the DB from SQL (db02 transaction) the time of the "fastest" HW is better.
- By server, the times from Abap and SQL of our quality server are similar.
- But the times of our new server are 50% "fastest" from SQL comparing it with ABAP access.

The new server is an exact copy of our quality server and we have reviewed parameters database and system.

Do you know if there is an special parameter that I've to configure?

I need help please.

Thanks
