When WM is set up to automatic/online creation of Transfer Order in IM/WM interface (OMLR, 'X' for TR and 'A' for immediate) - but switches to foreground processing, the reason is normally that the system is unable to determine a 'suitable' destination BIN by itself.
This is often due to missing or wrong putaway strategy setup (OMLY, OMLZ, evt. OMM1) or missing masterdata regarding stock placement on material master WM1.
So: check that Storage type and –section setup is reflected in the putaway strategy + check that a suitable stcl.plcm. indicator is set on the material master.
