I was able to create a new version through transaction codes OLPM and OLIX. When I ran the report, the system multiplied all the key figures by 2. So I had to revert back to standard.
I have been able to fix the issue though. Thanks for your help.

1. First check your update rules for notification as key figure via path "Logistics General--> ? LIS--> Logistics Data Warehouse--> Updating--> Updating Definition--> ? Specific definition using Update Rules--> Maintain Formulas"
2. Statistical data set up can be managed via "Logistics General--> LIS--> Logistics Data Warehouse--> Data Basis--> Tools--> Set up of Statistical data-->Application specific set up of statistical data"
All these are part of configuration.
