Reply from sigurd_christensen on Oct 21 at 2:49 AM Hi, SUT/SBT check can be used without running full-blown Storage Unit Management. It influences the search sequence for new/empty BINs. As I understand your question, You don't need SUT check. If I assume that your BINs are of same size, you could use putaway strategy F (fixed BIN) on Storage type level. Now the rest would be masterdata create Material master WM2 data on Storage type level, enter the fixed BIN and max. qty for the material. This will control putaway into this BIN if not enough free space, the strategy shifts to 'nxt empty BIN' automatically. Enter the same qty. as LE qty. in LHMNG1 this will divide total inbound qty into TO items of LE qty each. If the BINs are not of the same size, a more sofisticated setup e.g. using Capacity Check 4 can be used, this is however much more work to setup and especially collect/create masterdata for. Does Storage unit management should be activated 'SUT check active' option to be used? Please let me know. We do not want to use storage units functionality. We have a requirement to do putaway based on quantity (number of pieces) in storage bin. Each material should have fixed bin assigned with LE quantity specified. Putaway process should fill the fixed bin up to maximum quantity (LE quantity). Please note there will not be a scenario where transfer order needs to be split. If fixed bin is full, then putaway strategy should assign another empty bin which can only hold certain capacity (capacity ie number of pieces). If fixed bin becomes empty, no other material should occupy this bin except the material assigned to this bin. What would be the solution? What is the required configuration? Hope someone can help. Thanks in advance. | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
