Reply from Jennifer on Oct 23 at 10:24 AM We have successfully used SAP Continuous Inventory to perform cycle counting. It is not necessary to use the ABC approach to conduct the cycle count. Our goal is to count all bins 4x annually so that we meet financial requirements for Physical Inventory exemption (A's 4x/year, B's 2x/year, C's 1x/year). We cycle through the bins using LX16 to create the inventory records and process them in the same way we do for a Physical Inventory. We developed several custom reports to assist with the reporting and tracking.

I am trying to start a cycle counting program for our warehouse. I do not want to use the ABC analysis method and simply just want to count each storage bin 3x per year. I am having trouble finding how to create inventory documents in SAP without using the ABC analysis. Also is there somewhere that I can put our counting schedule into SAP to have it automatically pull this? |
