The position already occupied in the future ie. 01.01.2015 and they still show as vacant or selectable...: 1.1 If you want to assign a person to a position during the period other than the already assigned period for the position, then it is valid to show the position as vacant. 2. Time constraint: 2.1. TC = 1 is the correct value for IT 1. This infotype should always be present. 3. Search help only shows the never occupied positions instead of only the current occupied ones: 3.1 This can be achieved simply by terminating the position; i.e., delimiting it and deleting future entries. 3.2 Why do you need this? It is not standard practice to assign a person to a position not assigned before. This will need too many positions to be created. 3.3 PD objects should be created by Org.Mgt experts. The physical maintenance on R/3 may be done by the next level persons based on the SME's instructions.

Of course the IT0001 will give the user the error "Time constraint allows you to assign only one person". my constraint is setup in 2 but I already tried to modify this to get the expected result and it's not possible. For example the previous position (above) is already occupied in the present, that's why it shows the link with the person. My system settings are: PLOGI ORGA X PPVAC PPVAC 1 PPVAC DEFVC X PPVAC PERCT ' ' PPVAC PREF ' ' Is there a possibility that this search help only shows the never occupied positions instead of only the current occupied ones? Thanks, Sebastian | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | In the Spotlight Become a blogger at Toolbox.com and share your expertise with the community. Start today. _.____.__ |
